This 1-day course is ideal for nurses, vaccinators, anaesthetic technicians, radiographers, hospital staff, dentists not performing sedation, pharmacists and others who may require early-stage resuscitation skills in their workplace where backup isn't far away.

Outline
In this course, our lessons and scenario-based activities will give you:

the confidence and skills to use more advanced resuscitation equipment and techniques available for use within your workplace

a Resuscitation Level 4 certificate valid for 2 years upon successful completion

skills that meet the requirements for Advanced ALS as endorsed by the RCGPNZ
-
Confidence in establishing teamwork and the importance of roles during a cardiac arrest.

Can be renewed every 2 years to keep your Level 4 certificate and skills up-to-date
Prerequisites
Attendees must be:

Over 14 years of age
-
Certified at Resuscitation Level 3 or equivalent

Physically capable of kneeling on the floor to perform CPR and other skills
-
Able to complete assessments in English
-
Be positive and ready to learn these lifesaving skills
